Braemar: Virginia's Large Community of the Year for 2012 located in Bristow

Braemar is a spacious planned community situated in Bristow, VA that has over 2800 homes built between 1996 and 2008. Recognized in 2012 as Large Community of the Year by the Community Associations Institute, Braemar has homes that vary in range from townhomes to small and medium single family homes as well as town home style condos. Residents enjoy access to a Community Center, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, two Pools, multiple Tot Lot and Walking/Biking Trails. In addition, the community hosts various family friendly events throughout the year to include Breakfast with Bunny, Yard Sales, Dog Swims, Braemar Day, Halloween Party and Holiday Party. Also, there are several clubs and groups that are offered in the community such as the Activity Committee, Bristow Moms and Kids group, and a scrapbook and stamping club.

This community is situated just off I-66 and Linton Hall road making for a convenient commute to Washington DC and other areas of Northern, VA. There are many shopping and dining options near Braemar as well.  For example, the Bristow Center has a Harris Teeter and local favorite Tony’s Pizza. In addition, Sowder Village Square as well as the Virginia Gateway Center are located within close proximity.
