Haymarket Virginia Homes for Sale Market Update
Haymarket Virginia’s real estate market is on fire! At the time of this posting, there are only 19 single-family homes available for sale in all of Haymarket that are not new construction opportunities. This is some of the lowest inventory numbers we’ve ever encountered in Haymarket. There are two new construction communities developing, one is a Del Webb community that offers new construction options for people aged 55 years and better, and that's Carter’s Mill. The second new construction community still building in Haymarket, VA. is Virginia Crossing. Resale communities, such as Dominion Valley, Piedmont, and Villages of Piedmont, are selling faster than the listings become available. Most homes sell in less than 10 days on market and the only reason these homes are on market this long is managing the time to review multiple offers. The average home price is over $664,000 currently in Haymarket, this figure includes townhouses, condominiums, and single-family homes.
With the lack of inventory and the still robust demand, I am not forecasting a crash or bubble anytime soon. Growing demand for spacious housing, work-from-home options, great communities with resort-style amenities, and convenient locations are compelling buyers to move to Haymarket. The Washington Metropolitan area continues to grow as more and more families make their homes in this area. Haymarket will also continue to grow and likely continue to appreciate in home values.
Interest rates are ticking upward, but are still at historically low levels. To talk about the real estate market, call Leah Knight at 703-409-8025. To obtain Pre-Qualification, call Carolyn Capalbo at 703-477-6022 or complete an application here, www.gmmllc.com/carolyn-capalbo.
