The VRE rider may find commuting convenient from Burke, Bristow, Manassas Park, Manassas, Bristow, Woodbridge, Potomac Station, Stafford or even perhaps Fredericksburg. The Metro rider may find commuting convenient from Alexandria, Springfield, Falls Church, Vienna, Reston, Ashburn, Sterling, and McLean. Price and housing styles vary greatly. Manassas is a charming town that arose as a railway depot. Today, that railroad history is still strong in Manassas as there are 2 very convenient and active VRE (Virginia Rail Express) stations in Manassas and Manassas Park. Growth is evident as new construction is still available in Manassas. Cayden Ridge is a beautiful community of single family residences currently being developed by Miller and Smith. Stanley Martin and Ryan Homes are developing Bradley Square and Cannon Ridge. These communities are offering a wide variety of housing options to include single family homes, townhouses, and condominiums. Established traditional communities are also a great option for team Amazon and all other support operations. Lee Manor, Great Oak, Wellington Cloverhill, Sudley, Paradise, Meadowbrook Woods, Independence, and Sumner Lake are great places to live. All are super convenient to the VRE, shopping and dining options. Expect roughly an hour on the VRE from Manassas to Crystal City.
