Willowsford, A Floor Plan Review, The Brighton Model by Beazer Homes

Willowsford is a great community and a personal favorite for me.  I love the community amenities and activities available.  The Beazer Brighton currently offers the careful purchaser the option to build new under $700,000 in Willowsford.  Beazer is currently offering “Choice Option” variations on their floor plan designs that offer popular structural and design options at no additional expense.  As I review this floorplan, please keep this in mind as it may allow you to customize this great space to fit your needs.

The main level starts with exterior living space in the way of a front porch.  Hardiplank exterior with stone or brick water tables accentuate this lovely and appealing front entry.  The central foyer is bracketed by a formal dining room and your first “choice” option.  A formal living room option is available or a “choice” study is also available.  The main level already includes a library, expansive great room open to the informal eating area and kitchen.  The kitchen also has 2 “choices” for home purchasers.  Kitchen option A leaves room for a large mud room or family welcome area off the garage.  Kitchen option B expands the kitchen area and diminishes the mud room.  Personally, I believe the kitchen space is ample with either option and would recommend a larger mud room or family welcome area.  I feel this configuration would do better for resale opportunities in the future.  The Brighton Model at Willowsford also has structural options at additional cost offered by Beazer Homes.  These options include expanding the rear an additional 4 feet, a sunroom addition, a guest suite or main level bedroom suite, and a 3rd car garage option.  In this market, a main level guest suite or family suite is very appealing.  I am seeing many multi-generational family requirements and this addition will certainly fit the bill.  I am a fan of the 4 foot extension as well.  The home is ample enough, in my opinion, to forego the Sunroom option.

The second level offers 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and bedroom level laundry.  The Master is spacious and enjoys a large sitting room.  There are 2 “choices” for the master bathroom.  Choice C provides a larger walk in closet and mid room dual vanity sink configuration.  This layout is not traditional and opens the bathroom up for a window seat option, large linen closet, as well as a large tub and walk in shower.  Choice D is a more traditional bathroom design which does not leave out any desired amenities.  Both choices comes with a separate water closet, which I personally believe, is a must!  The second bedroom is impacted by the master bathroom configuration as it comes with 2 walk in closets with Choice D and only 1 walk in closet if Master bathroom Choice C is selected.  Bedroom 2 enjoys a private full bathroom.  Bedroom 3 and 4 are ample and share a “Jack and Jill” styled bathroom.

The basement can be finished with a large recreation room, 5th bedroom option, media or exercise room, and full bathroom.  The fully expanded home can enjoy as many as 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms.  This home can expand to over 6,000 square feet of finished living space!

There are currently several resale options available and that frequently come available.  I am an expert in guiding home buyers through the new construction process.  Beazer warmly welcomes knowledgeable agents.  You are always welcome and it is highly recommended to enjoy representation when building new construction in Willowsford!
